About
We are a global boutique software vendor helping organizations modernize legacy systems — through AI-native development or proven, traditional engineering. You choose the path; we deliver either way.
On the AI-native path, we bring intelligent automation and production-ready AI integration to your modernization effort: LLM-powered features, retrieval pipelines, and agentic workflows built into the architecture from day one — not bolted on as an afterthought.
Prefer to keep AI out of it? We specialize in designing and building distributed backend systems, drawing on decades of enterprise engineering experience to deliver secure, scalable, modern solutions — no AI required.
Our Founder
Simplicitize was founded and is led by Unnsse Khan, its Chief Technology Officer and Principal Backend AI Engineer, who specializes in Distributed Systems and AI/ML Engineering. He leads every engagement hands-on. As an individual contributor at Sony Interactive Entertainment, Intel, and Cubic Transportation Systems, he was integral to teams delivering backend payment systems on AWS, on a global scale.
At Venuetize (now Everi Holdings), he architected & implemented a real-time sports PaaS on AWS powering the official mobile apps of the Miami Dolphins, Trail Blazers, Suns, LAFC, and NY Red Bulls professional sports teams — delivering live game updates faster than ESPN.
Very early in his career, at Boeing Phantom Works (Boeing's R&D division), he was the specification lead for the International Space Station program's Systems Engineering Workbench. The project succeeded in large part because he introduced several key practices from Extreme Programming, an Agile methodology: user stories, iterations planning, refactoring, and TDD. These practices worked so well that they spread to other groups across Phantom Works.
Unnsse was an original member of the San Diego eXtreme Programming Group (SDXP), which later became Agile San Diego. He was also a longtime member of the San Diego Java Users Group (SDJUG). He remains active in the local software engineering community as a co-organizer of SDKotlin and a regular at SD Rust, along with other local tech meetups.
He earned a BSBA in Management Information Systems from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona and lives in San Diego. In his free time, he enjoys going to the beach, watching sports & live music.
